June McCauley Obituary
Born April 29, 1934, in Eddyville, she was a daughter of the late Doyle C. and Sarah M. (Best) Shreckengost.
June was a longtime member of the Leatherwood Church, where she belonged to the Leatherwood Ladies Aide Society. She also belonged to the Leatherwood Home Extension, Porter Township Election Board and Clarion County Farm Bureau Board.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Elmer P. McCauley, whom she married on September 15, 1954; also surviving are three children, Jeffery McCauley and his wife, Cheryl, Jerry McCauley and his wife, Sherry, and Thomas McCauley and his wife, Jane, all of New Bethlehem; seven grandchildren, Kristin (Ben) Klennert, Jennifer (Jason) Miller, Cassandra (Nathan Minich) Faulk, Caleb (Jessica) McCauley, Shawn (Brick) McCauley, Andrew (Lynde) McCauley and Jessica (Tyler) Orr; 13 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Leah, Sarah and Elijah Klennert, Aubrey and Brooke Miller, Jacob and Isabella Faulk, Brayden, Madeliene, Heagen and Keelan McCauley and LaRue McCauley; and one great-grandson due in January.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ormel Shreckengost, Harry Shreckengost, Russell Shreckengost, Mary Evelyn Kespelher and Eunice McKinley.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Leatherwood Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Doug Henry officiating.
Interment will take place in the Leatherwood Presbyterian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in June's name to the Leatherwood Church, 889 Church Road, New Bethlehem, PA 16242 or Clarion Forest VNA (Hospice), 271 Perkins Road, Clarion, PA 16214.
