Rita Little Obituary
Born September 6, 1940, at Butler County Memorial Hospital, she spent her childhood in Widnoon, Pennsylvania.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Florence Bowser; four brothers, Wilbur, Harold, Richard and Mervin Bowser; and one sister, Mary Potts.
Survivors include two sisters, Violet Draa and Margie Radaker; and one brother, Gerald Bowser; and her four daughters, Shirley Clark, Barbara Cancilla (married to Todd Cancilla), Patricia Little and Rita Nolf (married to William Nolf).
Rita cherished her family, leaving behind seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Her passions included gardening, sewing, baking and reading the Bible, with Psalms 23, John 3:16 and the Lord's Prayer being her favorite verses.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn.
Funeral services will follow the visitation at 5 p.m., with Pastor Tonya Hockenberry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alcorn Funeral Home.
Interment will take place in the Tidal Union Cemetery.
