Dawna Harrod Obituary
Polson- Dawna Dae (Voorhies) Harrod, age 91, passed away May 6, 2024, at St. Luke Community Hospital. Dawna was born October 26, 1932, to Harry and Vera (Dupuis) Voorhies at the family home in Polson, MT.
Dawna graduated from Polson High School. She met and married Lee Harrod on June 14, 1949, and they had four children together. Lee passed away in May 1974.
Dawna enjoyed fishing and gardening. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.
Dawna was preceded in death by her husband Lee, parents Harry and Vera Voorhies, sister Frankie Buck, and granddaughter Jodi Anne.
Dawna is survived by her children Brad Harrod, Debbie Harrod, Kathy Harrod, and Jim (Jody) Harrod, sister Madge Vert, 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her companion Jeff Dodgson.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:00 pm at The Lake Funeral Home and Crematory. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 10th at 10:00 am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Messages of condolences may be shared with the family at www.lakefuneralhomeandcremation.com.
