Adam Lee Saltsman, aged 35, passed away unexpectedly but of natural causes on October 24, 2025, in Niles, Michigan. Born on January 11, 1990, in South Bend, Indiana, to Mark and Kelly Saltsman, Adam grew up with a passion for the great outdoors and a love for sports that was only rivaled by his dedication to his family.
Adam's early years in Niles were marked by countless fishing trips and the budding of an unwavering support for Notre Dame and the Chicago Cubs. These interests would become lifelong passions, offering him both solace and excitement throughout his years. He carried the spirit of adventure with him always, a trait that those who knew him will fondly remember.
Above all, Adam was a devoted father to his daughter, Yara Saltsman. His love for his daughter was the beacon that guided every decision he made. He dedicated his life to her well-being, nurturing their dreams, and was their steadfast protector. The bond he shared with her was unbreakable and will continue to live on in her heart and memories.
Adam is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Kelly Saltsman; his adored daughter, Yara Saltsman, and his brother, Aaron (Alyssa) Saltsman. Each family member played a significant role in his life, providing him with support, laughter, and countless cherished moments.
Those who knew Adam would describe him as loving and adventurous. He approached life with a warm heart and open arms, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a moment of joy. His infectious smile and kind demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
As we say goodbye to Adam, we celebrate his life. He has left an indelible mark on the lives of his loved ones, and his legacy will be carried forward by the beautiful family he loved and the memories they created together.
In keeping with Adam's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
