Pete and Haroldene enjoyed time with friends, family, and traveling. After Haroldene passed away in 2002, Pete was fortunate to have found love one final time with Joyce Coleman, becoming great friends with her daughter, Joyce Ann and son, Jeff. Pete once said, "I am so blessed to have had three families."
