William Wayne Goins, Sr., 90, died peacefully at home Monday, October 20, 2025, in the comfort of his family's presence.
His life began on September 4, 1935, in Calvin Center, Michigan. He was born the only child to Wilbur Goins and Laurabelle Hawks Goins who preceded him in death.
William will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by and leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Denise (Kenny) Grimes, Billie Jean (Randal) Burton of Cincinnati, Ohio, Veronica (Gary) Dunaway of Lexington, Kentucky; six sons, Daniel (Joann) Goins, David Goins of Cincinnati, Ohio; Damon (Sandra) Goins of Marietta Georgia, William Goins Jr., Wade (Jinette) Goins, Wyatt (Kim) Goins of Cincinnati, Ohio, one brother, Herman Goins of Cassopolis, Michigan. He also leaves a legacy of 25 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the Church of Cassopolis, 520 Pearl Street, Cassopolis, for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service with military honors at 12:00 noon.
William will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Marion Goins of fifty years in a graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio on Monday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m.
