Allen E. Schemenauer

Allen E. Schemenauer, 79, of Chippewa Falls, died peacefully at Mayo Hospital in Bloomer, WI, on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
On December 29, 1945, Allen was born to John and Angeline (Bowe) Schemenauer in Chippewa Falls. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School with the class of 1964. Allen was united in marriage to Marcella "Mitzi" LeDuc on September 2, 1967, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. He served his country with the US Army starting in 1966 until his Honorable Discharge in 1971.
Allie, as known to his family and friends loved a good game of sheepshead and cribbage and hitting the buttons on the machines at the bar. He loved fishing and hunting with his son and camping with his entire family. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his Grandkids. His passing will leave a void in the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him.
Al retired from UniRoyal BF Goodrich after 33 years of service. He worked in Eau Claire until they closed and finished his years in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Al loved his yard work and being outside while working on his different projects.
Allen is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marcella; daughter, Brenda (Kevin) Leick of Auburndale, WI; son, Nick (Rebecca) Schemenauer of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Alex (Kaitlyn) Peloquin, Katie (Colton) Leick Ortner, Matthew (Jordynn) Leick, Allen-John "AJ" Schemenauer and Josephine "Joey" Schemenauer; great-grandchildren, Lachlan Peloquin and Margot Leick; sisters, Eileen (Sam) Schneider and Linda Whitelaw; brother, Steve (Mary) Schemenauer; along with many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Angela "Angie" Zwiefelhofer; his parents; his in-laws Henry and Rose LeDuc; sisters, Marcy Morrisette, Sylvia Franz, Mary Ann Bohl, Iris Secraw and Florina Goettl; and brothers, Percy, Cyril, John, Merwyn, Emmanuel, and Herman Schemenauer.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 412 S. Main Street, Chippewa Falls, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Fr. David Nowicki will be officiating. The interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Tilden, with Military Honors conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.
