Andrew Phillips Obituary
February 23, 1968 - September 15, 2025
Andrew John Phillips, age 57 of rural Strum, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 15, 2025. Andrew was born on February 23, 1968 in Eau Claire to Keith and Shirley Phillips.
He went to North High School and enlisted in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged.
In 1991, Andrew married Kathryn Munn in Georgia. While there, he was the owner/operator of Andrew Phillips Metal Roofing. In 2007, he moved back to the Eau Claire area and worked for Asher Lasting Exteriors for many years.
Andrew enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and playing darts in Foster. He was a skilled finishing carpenter that like to help others. Andrew loved animals, especially his beagle Jerry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kathryn; daughter Victoria Rose Nesmith; mother Shirley Luhm, brother (Christopher (Tracy) Phillips; and many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Preceding him in death are his father Keith and his grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared at www.cremationsociety-wi.com.
