Barbara Brandt Obituary

Barbara "Bobby" Brandt

June 30, 1944 - October 29, 2025

Barbara Sue Mary Harris Brandt, known lovingly to friends and family as Bobby, passed away peacefully on October 29th, 2025, at the age of 81. She was born June 30, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, to Robert Ford and Mary Magdaline (Haley) Harris.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Arthur Emanuel Brandt; her children, Joshua Kennedy Nave (son, Kayden) of Colfax, Hannah and David Peterson (daughter, Elena) of Minneapolis, and Maxwill Harris and Jessica Brandt (sons, Grayson and Brooks) of Denver. She is also remembered by her sister-in-law, Barbara, many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Philip Morris Harris and Lora Ann (Daniel) Cook, and by her nephews, Steve and Jay Cook.

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A lifelong learner and lover of the arts, she enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, theater, and music. She was also a proud Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters for eight years.

Barbara will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and generous spirit, and for the love she shared with her family and friends.

Her family wants to thank the love, care, and support she was provided in her final months from St. Croix Hospice, especially Cindy and Kari.

Please donate to your special cause, as long as it's a food pantry of choice, a public library, or Big Brother Big Sister, or learn to play Mahjong.
