Darlene K. Regez

Darlene Kay Regez, 82, of Eau Claire passed away on November 23, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born December 29, 1942 to John and Victoria (Karasch) Marsolek and raised on a farm outside of Whitehall, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school, she moved to Eau Claire to attend vocational school. She spent the majority of her career working for the state of Wisconsin in the property assessment department.
On October 17, 1964, Darlene married the love of her life, Roger Regez. They made their home in Eau Claire where they raised their three children together and built a lifetime of memories together.
Darlene was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy and she poured her heart into every birthday, holiday, and gathering always making each one special. She loved country music, gardening, traveling the United States and more recently, Sunday drives with Roger, always stopping for pie and coffee along the way. She was also a proud Wisconsin sports enthusiast, attending many Brewers, Bucks, Packers and Badger games throughout the years.
Darlene will be remembered for her kindness, caring nature, strong work ethic, deep faith that guided her throughout her life and her quick wit that brought smiles to those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Roger; children: Angela (Darin) McFadden, Thomas (Karri) Regez, and Holly (Lenny) Thorson; six grandchildren: Emily (Thomas) Conley, Rachel (Jake) Jochimsen, Nicholas McFadden, Nicole Thorson, Brittany (Shadreck) Chiweshe, and Jordan Thorson; great-grandchildren: Malachi Chiweshe and Oliver Jochimsen; siblings: LeRoy Marsolek, Janice (Charles) Larson, and Connie Breier. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews and longtime friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Roland.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church: (418 N Dewey Street),
Eau Claire, WI. Visitation will be held at the Church on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home in Eau Claire is assisting the family.
