Debra Schlattman Obituary

Debra A. Schlattman, age 65, passed away at her home in Eau Claire on Saturday, September 28, surrounded by her loving family.

Deb was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on December 1, 1958 to James and Dorothy (Crain) Berman. She married Richard Schlattman on February 14, 1992. Deb enjoyed doing crafts and loved spending time with her dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Jennie M. (Tim) Flint and Lashawn B. Schlattman (Ryan Carey); brother, Jeff Berman; grandchildren, Cassandra Arneson, Blake Marion, Hailey Carey, Noah Carey and Hannah Carey; brothers-in-law, Mike Schlattman and Greg Schlattman. Deb is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, James Berman and David Berman.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 11 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy., Altoona, with Chaplain Karl Schearer officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her palliative care nurse from Empatia and also to everyone at St. Croix Hospice.
