Dennis C. Belden, 75, of Eau Claire passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Care Partners Memory Care in Eau Claire.
Dennis was born on April 9, 1950, to Kenneth and Evelyn (Kumferman) Belden in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He graduated in 1968 from Memorial High School. He married Sherrie Smith from Janesville, Wisconsin in December 1974 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Dennis had several occupations, but he particularly enjoyed his janitorial service that he provided in Eau Claire for almost 50 years. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses he enjoyed sharing the deep knowledge he had of the Bible with family, friends in the congregation, and people he met through door-to-door ministry. Another joy of Dennis's was taking his son and grandsons to the lake in one of his many boats.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Sherrie Belden of Eau Claire; son, Nathan C. Belden of Eau Claire; grandsons, Braden Belden and Khail Belden of Eau Claire; siblings, Randy (Patti) Belden, Marlene Buxton, Darlene (Michael) Lucas, Mike (Lisa) Belden, and Susan (Jeff) Larsen; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Kenneth Belden; brother-in-law, John Buxton.
