Edward Wojtysiak Obituary
Edward Wojtysiak, age 79, of Lake Hallie passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Ed was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to the late Stanley and Stella (Nitek) Wojtysiak. He grew up in the Ladysmith area, graduating from Holcombe High School. Ed proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy as a cook stationed out of San Francisco. On September 30, 1977, he married Geraldine K. Guptill at St. John's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Ed worked 25 years with Uniroyal until his retirement. Throughout his retirement Ed held multiple jobs to keep busy. He loved to fish, ride ATVs, and was a home handyman able to fix just about anything.
He is survived by his wife, Gerri; sister, Sophie Wojtysiak; brother, Stanley M. Wojtysiak, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; a great nephew and a great, great niece.
A private family graveside service, with interment in the Conrath Cemetery, will be held at a later date. Evergreen Funeral Home is serving the family.
