Joseph A. (Hrdlicka) Litchka, 66, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Osseo.
He was born on September 28, 1959, in St. Paul, MN, to the late Joseph and Ruth (Bahr) Hrdlicka.
He married Lisa Hubacher on September 23, 1983, in Eau Claire. After living in Madison, the couple moved to California where the light of his life, daughter Myriah, was born.
Joe loved music of all varieties and was proud of his extensive music collection. He enjoyed motorsports, riding trails on his ATV. Joe also liked to fish with family and friends. He was a very hard worker and loved being a truck driver and all the traveling and meeting people that came with the job. He is survived by his daughter, Myriah (Dylan Hawkins) Hrdlicka, of Golden Valley, MN; brothers, Stephen (Tamara), Jeffrey (Kim), Mark, Tim, all of Eau Claire; sister, Dawn Hrdlicka, also of Eau Claire; he is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Paul.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Friday, December 19 at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Eau Claire. Rev. James Kurzynski will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at Noon Friday, December 19 at the church.
