Keith C. Jorgensen of Eau Claire, WI passed away peacefully at his home on August 4, early Sunday morning. Keith was surrounded by his two daughters, Michelle and Stefanie (wife Angela), son Kirk, and his grandchildren. Keith was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol Jorgensen of 61 years.
Keith was born on April 13, 1941, to Clifford and Onita Jorgensen in Uehling, Nebraska. The better part of Keith's childhood was spent in Eau Claire, WI on Dells Pond. Keith and his three brothers, Jerry, Dennis and Dan, spent a lot of time outdoors hunting, trapping, fishing and waterskiing on the pond.
After graduating from Memorial High School in Eau Claire Keith moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he married his high school sweetheart, Carol. When they were expecting their first child, Michelle, they decided to move back to Eau Claire in 1961 to be with family.
Keith found his true calling to be a salesman. He often joked that he once sold a freezer to an eskimo. Keith's career in sales began with Presto company selling home appliances. Presto required Keith to relocate to several cities in the Midwest, including Minneapolis, Kansas City, St. Louis and Chicago.
After many years with Presto Keith, Carol and daughter Stefanie moved back to Eau Claire, WI in 1989, where Keith continued his career in sales in the Medicare Supplement business where he helped numerous clients.
Keith is survived by his three children: daughter Michelle (late husband Stephen Triphahn), son Kirk and daughter Stefanie (wife Angela Jorgensen), and was a loving grandfather to his grandchildren, Lauren (husband Roman Barraza), Brittany, Cortney (husband Justin Schultz) and Collin (fiancée Krysta Martin); great-grandchildren, Adreyan, Sophia, Madison, Mila, Kolby and Raven.
Keith made a big impression on anyone whom he crossed paths with and will be dearly missed by all.
