Keith Wampole Obituary

Keith Wampole

February 15, 1991 - December 5, 2025

Keith Richard Wampole, age 34, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2025.

Keith was born on February 15, 1991 in Eau Claire, WI to Richard and Mary Wampole. He grew up in Lake Hallie attending Halmstad Elementary, Chippewa Falls Middle School, and graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School.

In his life that was cut far too short, he held many different jobs, but after settling in St. Paul, he found his niche as a horizontal drill operator-a role he truly enjoyed and excelled at.

He was a beloved son, father, brother, and loving partner whose warm heart and genuine love enriched the lives of all who knew him.

Keith especially treasured the time he spent with his daughter, Kennedy. He had a deep fondness for animals-especially cats-and his gentle nature showed in the way he cared for them. A devoted sports fan, Keith found great joy in watching and attending games, particularly cheering on the Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Badgers, and the Minnesota Wild.

He loved rock music and often relaxed by listening to his favorite bands or spending time gaming, hobbies that brought him steady enjoyment throughout his life. He also enjoyed traveling, embracing new places and experiences with a genuine sense of adventure, and he truly lived life to the fullest in every way he could.

Keith is survived by his daughter, Kennedy; his parents, Richard and Mary Wampole of Lake Hallie; his sisters, Kate Fjelstad (Jon Gardow) of Chippewa Falls and Maggie Kusiak (Daniel) of Jacksonville, Florida; his brother, Peter Wampole (Chris Van Klei) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his girlfriend, Kat Goss; his niece, Camryn Fjelstad; his nephews, Jack Fjelstad, Trystan Kusiak, and Cole Kusiak; his ex-wife and Kennedy's mother, Kasey; his two cats, Polo and Commie; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Ellen Wampole and Marvin and Lois Thompson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He will be remembered for his vibrant nature, his loyalty, and the deep care he showed for the people he loved. Though his journey here ended much too soon, the impact he made will live on in the memories shared by his family and friends.

Keith's family cherishes the moments they had with him and holds his memory close as they navigate this difficult loss.

A memorial service for Keith will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the Chippewa Valley Cremation Services and Celebration of Life Center (1717 Devney Dr, Altoona, WI). Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Following the service all are invited to join the family for a meal at the Celebration of Life Center.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a local animal shelter or rescue organization in Keith's honor.
