Mark Bergen Obituary

Mark Bergen

July 31, 1949 - January 5, 2026

In loving memory of Mark Bergen, 76

Mark Bergen, age 76, was gently called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 5th, 2026. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing that Mark is now at peace, resting in God's eternal presence.

Mark was a man of great faith and steady love. His kindness, wisdom, and faith spoke clearly through the way he lived. He believed in doing what was right, loving deeply, and trusting God completely. His life reflected his belief that faith was something to be lived daily, not just spoken.

Family meant everything to Mark. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. His love was constant, dependable, and unconditional. He showed his care through his actions- a helping hand, a listening ear, a shared prayer, or simply being there when he was needed most. His presence brought comfort and guidance to all that knew him.

Marks faith guided his life. He found strength in prayer and peace in God's promises. Whether through his involvement in church, quiet moments of reflection, or the way he treated others with grace, Mark lived his faith sincerely and humbly.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda of fifty-one years, daughters Carrie (Nkrumah) Morgan, Jennifer (Justin) Kron. His grandchildren Noah and Eva Kron, who were his pride and joy. His brothers Richard Bergen and Robb (Linda) Bergen. Brothers and sisters in law, Fred (Ann) Siebenshuh, Carol (Randy) Rowe, Dave Siebenshuh, Kathy (Tim) Siebenshuh, John (Cassandra) Siebenshuh, Paul (Joy) Siebenshuh and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. All who will forever carry his love, lessons, and faith in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his father Max Bergen, his mother Florence Bergen, his father-in-law Fred Siebenshuh, and his mother-in-law Delores Siebenshuh.

A service celebrating Mark's life and faith will be held on February 6th, 2026, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to service, at Ladysmith Christian Church.

We will gather not only to mourn his passing, but to give thanks for the life he lived and the hope we have in Christ.

"If I am shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man." Judges 16:17

Mark will be deeply missed here on Earth, but his legacy of love and faith will continue to guide us until we meet again.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the excellent and loving care Mark received from the staff at Marshfield Medical Center-Weston.
