Mark Fox
September 30, 1955 - November 2, 2025
Mark T. Fox, 70, of Chippewa Falls, passed away at his home surrounded by the love of family and friends on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
He was born in Chippewa Falls to Norm and Joann (Prell) Fox on September 30, 1955. He graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High in 1973 and then attended Eau Claire Vocational School and earned a degree in diesel mechanics. He worked most of his life in the R.V. industry for Fox R.V., Coast and NTP Stagg. He also worked for Conoco and for11 years requiring moves to Green Bay, Winona, MN (where he made incredible friends for life) and River Falls.
Mark loved his family – all of Jeremy's sporting events and hunting with Jamie were always a priority. He loved deer hunting and any time spent in the woods. It was more than the hunt, it was deer camp camaraderie, bonds with family and friends, passing down traditions and the lasting memories through shared stories, beer, gumbo, and hot dogs over the fire.
He and Judy made numerous trips to Hawaii, their happy place, where they enjoyed meeting the locals on every island. Judy was always planning and Mark never knew what to expect. She was grateful for his easy-going nature.
He was so proud of his sons, Jamie and Jeremy, and his grandson, Theo, who was a very precious gift – his little spark plug. He also thought the world of his daughter-in-law, Kiyanna.
Mark is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Jamie Fox of Lakeville, MN, and Jeremy (Kiyanna) Fox of Eau Claire; and grandson, Theo Fox. He is further survived by his mother, Joann Fox; brothers, Greg Fox, Gary (Barb) Fox; sister, Tammy Nayes; brother-in-law, Bill (Jill) Durch; sisters-in-law, Sally (Bob Krall) Reynolds and Linda (Dave) Schleppenbach; nieces and nephews, Kayha and Kort Fox, Nikki (Bryan) Byrd and their children Berkley and Brad, Ashley, Alan and Katie Fox, Tanner (Hope) Nayes and their daughter Everly, Shari (Andy) Solie, Jason Reynolds and his daughters, Hailey, and McKenzie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Fox; grandparents; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Rosemary Durch; brother-in-law, Tom Nayes; and nephew, Ritchie Davis.
Mark's wish was to be a part of whole-body donation to help advance medical science. Through MedCure, we are happy we were able to complete that wish for him. The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his team of doctors in the Marshfield System in Eau Claire, the Medical ICU in Marshfield, the Mayo ambulance crew that made it possible for him to come home, and Interim Hospice.
