Ronald L. Larson, Jr., 59, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 19, following a long battle with colon cancer. He was surrounded by his family.
Ron was born in California, on September 1, 1965, the son of Ronald and Kathleen (Quam) Larson. Ron graduated from Jefferson High School with the class of 1984.
He enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons, going to Renaissance events and collecting dragon statues. He was a member of the Kingdom of Northshields.
Ron is survived by his father, Ronald Larson; and his sisters, Diana (Clark) Garthwait of New Bern, NC and Brenda (Brian) Schneider of Capron, IL; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Larson; paternal grandparents, Ruth and Lloyd Larson; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Pearl Quam.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held at a later date.
