Donald Fox Obituary

Donald P. Fox, 71, of Kittanning, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at Butler Hospital. He was born July 17, 1939, in Kittanning, a son of the late Homer and Mary Sanoba Fox. Donald retired from Highland Golf Course and formerly A&P Kittanning and worked at the Mushroom Mines. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Manorville. He was an avid golfer, bowler and enjoyed working in his yard. Survivors include his wife, Betsy Good Fox, whom he married July 8, 1966; daughter, Lynn Bauwin, of Dayton; son, Donald and his wife, Michelle; brother, Fred and Genevieve Fox, of West Kittanning; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Fox; and sisters, Winifred Schrecengost, Shirley Helm, Orpha Morda, Martha Hahner and Florence Fox. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at MANTINI FUNERAL HOME. Additional visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, Manorville, with Pastor James A. Higgins. Interment in Brady's Bend Cemetery.
