Elizabeth "Libby" Rose (Gaggini) Bundy, 61, of Cowansville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021.
She was born on Feb. 10, 1960, in Cowansville, Pa., to Oswaldo and Maude Gaggini.
Libby married her best friend, Bernard Bundy, on Aug. 31, 1984.
Together they had two children, Patrick and Allison.
Libby began her nursing career in 1982, starting as an LPN and moving on to become an RN, ranking at the top of her class.
She cared for so many throughout her 39 years of nursing and made many lifelong friends that she loved as family.
Libby loved crocheting, especially baby blankets for her family and friends, baking and cooking with her grandchildren and for her family and trying out new recipes on their Blackstone.
She also loved playing Wordscape and cruising in the 'Vette with her husband.
Libby enjoyed traveling to see her daughter and her family all over the world.
She cherished her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
Libby was a loving, caring and giving woman.
She always knew what to do for those in need.
Libby truly was God's servant and an angel on earth.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard Bundy; two children: Patrick (Whitney) Bundy and Allison (Daniel) Gaiser; four beautiful grandchildren: Payton and Karter Bundy and Madilyn and Colton Gaiser; brothers: Charles (Linda) Gaggini, James (Pam) Gaggini, and Lloyd (Judy, fiancé) Gaggini; sister, Margaret (Kevin) Hetrick; brother in law, Eugene Ion; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Libby is preceded in death by her parents: Oswaldo and Maude Gaggini; sister, Josephine Ion; sister in law, Theresa Gaggini; and in-laws: Willard and Ruth Bundy.
Please join us celebrating her life from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, in Cowansville, Pa.
Additional viewing will be held from 10 am until the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at the funeral home with Father Diaz officiating.
A dove release will immediately follow at Wattersonville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Libby's name to St. Eusebius Catholic Church in East Brady, Pa., and Wattersonville Cemetery in Wattersonville, Pa.
