Joyce Anne (Evans) Law, 78, of Ford Cliff, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, surrounded by her family at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
Joyce worked as a waitress at the G.C. Murphy's Five & Ten in Kittanning and in the cafeteria at Lenape Elementary.
After surviving a stroke, she devoted her life to loving her husband, three sons, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joyce was an avid shopper and lifelong bingo player at the Ford Cliff VFD, where you would find her every Wednesday no matter what.
She loved a good flea market or yard sale, relaxing on her front porch listening to her many wind chimes, watching the neighborhood children play, spending time at the family camp, and making Christmas cookies with her sister Vivian Lasher (Evans).
She also enjoyed her bus trips to Atlantic City.
She is survived by her three sons: John (Melissa) Law, Jeff (Denise) Law, and Joe Law; as well as her seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her sister, Vivian Lasher (Evans); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Law, to whom she was married for 60 years; her sister, Vic; her parents, Jay and Agnes (French) Evans; and her brothers, Jim and John Evans.
Friends will be welcomed 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Welch Funeral Service LLC, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, with Rev. Larry Edwards officiating.
Internment will follow at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington.
