Lenore Schall Obituary
Lenore R. Schafer Galbraith Schall, 88, of Atlanta, TX, formerly of Kittanning, PA departed this life on Thursday, July 28, 2022.
On July 6, 1934, Lenore was born to William H. and Blanche (Cunningham) Schafer in Manorville, Armstrong Co., PA. She had two siblings, N. Eugene Cunningham and Virgil C. Shafer. She spent her childhood years at the home of Grandmother Rose V. Cunningham and Aunt Mary Geidel of Manorville after the passing of her mother.
Lenore filled her life with music. She began playing at 12 years old at Manorville Methodist Church and retiring from West Glade Run Presbyterian at age 75.
She is survived by a son, Eric T. Schall of Kittanning; one daughter, Karen J. Willis and husband, Bubba of Atlanta, TX; and grandchildren, Tommy Ferraro of Butler, E.T. Schall of St. Marys, and Kathryn Rathke and husband, Troy of Wisc and one great-grandson, Rowan Rathke.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James S. Galbraith and Thomas F. Schall, Jr.; her son, Ronald J. Galbraith; an infant son, Larry Stewart Galbraith; and a granddaughter, Lindsey Schall.
Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Saturday, Aug. 13 2022, at the West Glade Run Presbyterian Church, 934 Glade Run Rd, Kittanning, PA with Rev. Colleen McFarland officiating.
Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Armstrong Co., PA.
