Robert Allen Williams, 73, of Kittanning, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, at his home.
He was born Feb. 21, 1948, in Pittsburgh, to the late Donald and Charlotte (Levens) Williams.
Bob worked as an industrial electrician and mechanic; he was of the Methodist faith. He was a member of the American Legion in Lower Burrell, where he was in the Sons of the American Legion and the Kittanning Elks Lodge. Bob enjoyed tinkering in the garage, beer drinking, bar stool sitting, arguing, supervising, mentoring and Fox News watching.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Kathryn Williams; sons: Robert (Lesley) Williams, of Kittanning, Donald (Wendy) Williams, of Crownsville, Md., and Steven (Sonya) Williams, of Redwood, N.Y.; daughter, Amy (Walter) Aguirre, of Kittanning; father-inlaw and mother-in-law, James and Norma Ryba, of Lower Burrell; sister, Charlotte (Jim) Hollerich; brothers: Donald (Sandy) Williams, Norman (Diana) Williams and John (Donna) Williams; sister, Margaretta (Dennis) Stewart; brother, Keith (Christine) Williams; sister, Virginia (David) Micklo; and best friend, Newt McGinnis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Raymond Williams.
Bob was a loving husband and a truly dedicated father. His brilliant mind, big heart and larger-than-life personality impacted countless people. He will be deeply missed by none more than his grandchildren: Haley, Tyler, Nina, Valentina, Gabriel, Myla, Augustus, Emma and Abraham, whose lives could only be bettered by his continuing influence.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, in the funeral home until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Paul Barton officiating.
There will be a gathering at the Twin Pines after the service.
