Russell D. Kuntz

Russell D. Kuntz, 84, of Kittanning, formerly of Millvale, died peacefully with his family by his side Monday, March 11, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Erma (Randig) Kuntz for 62 years; the loving father of Regis (Charlotte) Russell Jr. (Debbie), Roger (Teresa) and the late Christine; the grandfather of Shawn Kuntz, Melanie (Ricky) Santiago, Zachary Kuntz, Aisha (David) Smith, Stephanie Kuntz and Ryan Kuntz; the great-grandfather of Cole and Quinn Santiago; and the brother of the late Marie Gaus, Evelyn Merzlak, Robert, Ralph and Richard Kuntz. Friends will be received from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the HAHN FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION SERVICES INC., 123 North Ave., (next to Holy Spirit Church), 412-821-3700. Services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday . Russell was the former owner of Household Appliance Service and a proud World War II Navy Veteran having served on the U.S.S. Howard W. Gilmore AS-16 and a plank owner on the U.S.S. Albany CA-123. He was also a member of the Kittanning Men's Club, a lifetime member of the Millvale Post V.F.W.
