While most people knew him as Mr. Brewster we had the privilege of calling him Dad. We are indeed blessed and are forever grateful for not only the time we spent together, but for his gift of sharing his life experiences and stories with us.

While most people only read about history, we are honored that we were able to experience history from a history maker himself.

Thank you Dad for imparting your history, wisdom, knowledge, warmth and love

During this time of so much unrest and inequality, I pray to God to help me respond to all sorts of people with self-respect, wisdom, understanding, kindness, and love. My ultimate example is that of Christ Jesus, and second to him are Mr. Reginald Brewster and his fellow Tuskegee Airmen. May we never forget them! Family, Friends, and Admirers: The prayer of my family is that the peace of God that surpasses all understanding be with you during your time of deep sorrow!

I respectfully offer my condolences to the friends and family of this patriot , and superior fighter pilot. I'd met him twice over the years doing write-ups on the the United States Army Air Corps while doing research on The First Defense Airfield located in Millville, N.J.
The history and pride of this Fighter Squadron wasn't recognized by many until the last thirty or so years thru movies . Just the fact they never lost any bombers they escorted over thousands of American and Allied aircraft was a insurmountable feat, and then of course holding the record of shooting down the first Jet aircraft a ME262. Being the fact that no one in history had ever flown a jet aircraft let alone the fact a piston aircraft taking on the feat which wasn't a simple task. A dedicated man, a Superior pilot and a man I will never forget. What I would refer to as a distinguished gentleman.

Neither Mr. Brewster, nor any of his extremely courageous and competent members of the “Red Tails” will never be minimalized, only memorialized. They are, and always will remain as American Patriots that earned the title of members of The Greatest Generation. Thank you for your service to our country, sir. I can only say as a child of a WW II Veteran, I am saddened you had to experience ill placed treatment. You and your Tuskegee Airmen will forever be in my heart as true American Patriots and deservedly so. May you Rest In Peace.

I cry for those left behind, for the lonely ones with hollows in their hearts. I ask You to comfort them, give peace, restore hope, and lavish them with love, family, and belonging. In the depths of loss, Father meet them with Yourself.

I cry for the legacy this loved one leaves, for the ways the world has been made different by their presence, for the memories that become both more beautiful and more painful on this side of death. And Father I pray that the work You have accomplished in this remarkable life will grow deeper, wider, and stronger in the days to come, uninhibited by a weak opponent like death. In Jesus precious and Holy name, Amen
Thank you for your service!

To the Brewster Family:
You have my profound sympathy on the passing of Mr. Brewster ; however , you also have my deep proudness for a man who left this world a legacy of memories as a member of an elite group of men who fought for a country that had /has no idea of who they truly were/are ! Let's make sure that our young people know Mr. Brewster and the Tuskegee Airmen! May he rest in Jesus until the world is called into order and all the saints of get home!
