Alice D. McTaggart January 16, 1934 October 24, 2004 PHENIX CITY, AL— Alice D. McTaggart, 70, of Phenix City died Sunday, October 24 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, October 26 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chris Fortenberry officiating. A private burial will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St., Phenix City, Ala. Mrs. McTaggart was born January 16, 1934 in Ft. Gaines, Ga., daughter of the late Gertrude Jenkins Harrell and Mason E. Harrell. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Cecil McTaggart. Survivors include a daughter, Diane Wilson of Phenix City; three sons, Walter E. Arnold and wife Nina of Perry, Ga., Richard B. Arnold and wife Allison of Valrico, Fla., and David L. Arnold and wife Cathy of Seale, Ala.; three sisters, Mary Trude Pierson and Maggie Pippin both of Phenix City and Mavis Bradshaw of White Hall, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
