With deepest condolences
We are so sorry for the Smiths Family loss. Barbara was a wonderful person and friend. Every person she knew she touched in a positive way. Anytime you spoke with Barbara if you may have been feeling a little down or unhappy by the time you finished she had lifted your spirits. Barbara will be definitely missed by all who knew her.
With sympathy,

Barbara has been a friend and career mentor to me for over 40 years. We watched late-night TV shows together and confided in each other late into the night when most people were asleep. I cherish the memories of visiting Barbara in Florida with my late husband and our attendance at the many parties and cookouts Barbara gave while she lived in Brooklyn. Barbara was a caring and loving friend to both of us. I will miss her compassion, wit, and sincere loving presence. I pray for comfort for her children and brother who have had an irreplaceable loss, and for her many friends who have forever been touched by this amazing human being. Our time together will always be in my heart until we meet again.
God bless you and keep you, my dear friend.

We are very saddened at this news. Barbara was a great lady and we cherish the amount of time we had to know her. As our FL neighbor she looked after us as much as we looked after her. She was always calling our youngest her "son" because he was always helping her out whenever needed. Our condolences to the family. You kids were everything to her and she talked about you and her grandson all the time
