Bennie Lee Bellamy May 6, 1913- May 19, 2006 COLUMBUS, GA— Ms. Bennie Lee Bellamy, 93, of 115 Gates Avenue, Columbus, GA. passed on Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, GA. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 3 p.m. at Fourth St. Missionary Baptist Church, 222 Fifth St., Columbus, GA. Dr. J.H. Flakes, Sr. pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held today from 2 until 7 p.m., according to Charles E. Huff's International Funeral Home. Mrs. Bellamy was born May 6, 1913 in Phenix City, AL. She was the daughter of Hattie Daniels. The funeral procession will depart from the residence, 115 Gates Avenue at 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Bellamy was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Mission and Choir. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Elizabeth Ross, Columbus, GA.; one niece, Irene Pitts, Columbus, GA.; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild; three grand sons in law and many other relatives and friends.

Ms Bennie, you will truly be missed. You were a Mother to everyone's children on 3rd Avenue. I personally know that you going to be an angel along with my Mother in heaven. You have come to a lot of peoples rescue, and I know God is blessing you. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My sympathy goes out to Lizzy Bell, Jackie, and the rest of the family.
