Brandon Pierce Obituary

Brandon Robert Pierce February 11, 1994- August 5, 2006 PANAMA CITY, FL— Master Brandon Robert Pierce, 12, of Panama City, Florida passed away at 5:56 pm on Saturday, August 5th 2006 at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Pensacola, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Born February 11, 1994 at Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, Florida, he was a beautiful little boy who was loved by many. He survived a battle with Bacterial Meningitis at the age of 2, but eventually succumbed to its many complications. He attended Margaret K. Lewis School and Tender Love and Care (PPEC) where he received the utmost quality of care by the many teachers, nurses and staff who dearly loved him. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Wilson and Colleen Jennings of Columbus, Georgia, and Eleanore Hackrott of Buffalo, New York. Maternal grandparents, Billy and Letha Higgs and his Aunt Phelicia K. Higgs, all of Central City, Kentucky. He is survived by his loving parents; mother, Michelle C. Pierce and special "Uncle" Mark E. Lasater; father and step mother, Gary Robert and Christina M. Pierce, siblings, Jordan Carter and Kristin Pierce, all of Panama City, Florida. Grandparents, Gary and Betty Pierce of Columbus, Georgia, and Sandra Hansen of Graham, North Carolina, Aunt Brenda Pierce and Cousin Jenny Lynn Kirsten Pierce of Columbus, Georgia, Aunts and Uncles Regina Madlem and Lillian Finn of Tallahassee, Florida, Daniel Higgs of Cookeville, Tennessee, Sonya and Gary Logan of Russellville, Kentucky, Treva Piercefield of Madisonville, Kentucky, Ricky Higgs, Tabitha Green, Dalmon and Maria Higgs, Latoya Higgs, Darren and Amanda Higgs, and Charles and Angela Higgs and many special cousins, all of Central City, Kentucky. Services remembering Brandon will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, August 9th 2006 in the Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Brandon, It's been a few weeks since you have left us but I know your communicating to us all, from speaking to papa, waking me up recently at 2:11am (your b/day), the writing on my kitchen bay window, playing peak a boo with Aunt Brenda, we all feel your presence.
