Phenix City, AL- Brandon Dwight Sherman, 22, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday evening, December 18, 2014.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm EST Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends Friday night, December 26, 2014 from 6 until 9.
Brandon was born August 16, 1992 in Columbus, GA to Michelle Clingerman Sherman and Robbie Sherman. He loved writing poetry, sharing his great sense of humor and showing the huge heart he had for his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Gene Sherman and his great-grandparents R.T. and Minnie Jamieson.
He is survived by his mother, Michelle Sherman of Leesburg, GA; father, Robbie and Stacey Sherman of Phenix City; siblings, Johnathan and Lynn Sherman, Scott and Lacey Sherman, Troy Laney, Christopher Laney, Makaylee Sherman and Ashley Laney all of Phenix City, AL; nephew, "Lil John"; grandmother, Linda "Maw" Sherman of Phenix City, AL; grandfather, Randy Clingerman; aunts, Angela and William Miles, Amber and Ronny Brooks, Wendy and Steve Watford and Wanda and Tim Young; uncles, Tommy Sherman and Wayne and Shawana Chalcraft; cousins Elizabeth "Bit" and Mark Easton; a large extended family, and many caring friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at any Wells Fargo to assist the family.

I was so sorry to hear about Brandon. I remember the times he would come by and visit and we would talk and sometimes he would ask for advice,on one occasion he shared some art work,he made some cards,he truly was an artist in the making.
