Byron Turner Obituary

Byron "T" Turner April 15, 1941- December 17, 2006 TEMPLE, GA— Byron 'T" Turner, 65 of Temple, GA, died suddenly on Sunday, December 17, 2006. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM EST at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Serving as pallbearers are Don Baker, Elton Brooks, Paul Moncada, Tim Lewis , Robert Peppers and Chris Norris. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening (Wednesday) from 6-8 PM EST. Mr. Turner was born April 15, 1941 in Muscogee County, GA, son of the late William Byron Turner and Martha Evelyn Forhand Turner. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sargent after 21 years of service and was a member of Center Point United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Turner in February of 1968. Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Brenda Faye Pendry Turner of Temple, GA.; daughter, Sherry Lee of Coushatta LA.; granddaughter, Lauren Lee of Coushatta, LA.; brothers, George Walston and wife Blanche of Hurtsboro, AL., Joseph Turner of North Carolina., Robert Turner of Florida; sisters, Lois Norris of Columbus, GA., Joyce Walston of Columbus, GA; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
