Carl Forrester Obituary

Carl Lamar Forrester April 28, 1922 - January 27, 2005 PHENIX CITY, AL — Carl Lamar Forrester, 82, of Phenix City, died Thursday, Jan. 27 at The Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Phenix City Chapel with the Reverends Joel Walker and Ron Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Forrester was born April 28, 1922 in Columbus, son of the late Buford D. and Addie White Forrester. He was a member of the Summerville Baptist Church and was a former office equipment repairman with the White Co., and Baker Office Supply. Mr. Forrester was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nancy Caldwell Forrester; two daughters, Barbara McQuinn and Carole Cummings; and one son, Gary Forrester, all of Phenix City; a brother, Charles Forrester of Ellerslie, Ga.; one sister, Mary Jane Calhoun of Opelika, Ala.; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great grandson, nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Summerville Baptist Church.
