Columbus, GA- Ms. Cassandra Lois Williams passed away peacefully Friday at her home. She was 57 years of age and resided at 1002 32nd Avenue.
The daughter of Mrs. Mattie S. Cauley Williams of Bridgeport CT and the late Ennis T. Williams, Cassandra was a native of Columbus who was a 1976 graduate of the George Washington Carver High School. She attended the Atlanta College of Fashion and Design where she obtained an Associates degree. She was a member Greater Peace Baptist Church, and was a Licensed Insurance Agent with Direct Auto and Insurance Company in Columbus.
Survivors, other than her mother, include: her sisters, Barbara Marshall Davis and Sandra Lee El-Oukili (Youneff); brothers, Al Marshall and Ennis T. Williams, Jr. (Kim); beloved niece and nephews, Maslyn Marshall-Tarver (Charles); Allister Marshall, Trevor Marshall and Tobias Marshall; a loving and devoted friend, Pamela Bush; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends to include her beloved Wynston.
The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Williams will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Progressive Chapel with interment in Green Acres Cemetery. The cortege will depart from the residence at 10:30 the day of the service. Condolences may be expressed at progressivefuneralhome.com. Progressive Funeral Home, Inc. To the Williams Family,am sorry for your lost,God has bring another ANGEL home..Cassandra was the most HUMBLE AND SWEET person I have ever meet,every time I went to go see her,no matter what she was going through she always and I mean always had a SMILE on her face..She was my friend and I could always talk to her about wht am going through..and always gave me advice or an encouraging word..SHE WILL B TRUELY MISS!!!
