Metter, Georgia - Mr. Christopher Holmes, 65, of Columbus passed on Monday, November 7, 2023 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Metter, GA. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Thursday, November 16, 2023 in the Chapel of the Charles E. Huff's International Funeral Home, Minister Racel Banks, officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the funeral home located at 927 - 5th Avenue, Columbus.
Mr. Christopher Holmes was born on December 25, 1957 to Roderick Holmes and the late Helen Rigel Holmes in Durham, NC.
He leaves to cherish his memories his father, SGM (RET) Roderick Holmes; step mother, Ezera Holmes; one sister, Barbara Chapman (Elder Craig), Phenix City, AL; two step sisters, Desiree Redding (Larry) and Regina Holmes, Charlotte, NC; many other relatives and friends.
