Claudie Mae Hinson Jurisin June 7, 1912- June 22, 2005 WAVERLY HALL, GA— Claudie Mae Hinson Jurisin, 93, of Oakview Home, Waverly Hall, GA and of Columbus died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with Reverend Udell Addison officiating. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Mrs. Jurisin was born June 7, 1912 in Geneva County, AL, daughter of the late Henry Melton Hinson and Mary Ann Skipper Hinson and the granddaughter of Daniel Jasper and Nancy Elizabeth Skipper. She was a member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church and was employed with Bibb Manufacturing Company before becoming a homemaker. Mrs. Jurisin was preceded in death by her husband, Michael C. Jurisin and a son, Michael C. Jurisin, Jr., five brothers, Clyde Hinson, James Hinson, Rex Hinson, Harvey Hinson, and Shelley Hinson and a sister, Daisy Harris. Survivors include six daughters, Merle Jeanette Helms, Mernette McQuinn, Mary Sanders (Charles), Katie Howard, all of Phenix City, AL, Shirley Norrell (Jackie) and Barbara Brown both of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 29 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Temples and Lanette James both of Phenix City, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
