Columbus, GA- Mr. Curtis Lee Talbot, Sr. passed Sunday at Columbus Hospice House. He was 61 years of age.
The son of the late Edgar L. and Maereather Golden Tolbert, Mr. Talbot was born in Phenix City, AL and was a U. S. Army Veteran. He was retired from Kysor-Warren Manufacturing Company and was of Baptist faith. Survivors include: his wife, Rose Marie Lightfoot Talbot; three sons, Curtis L. Talbot, Jr., Maurice Talbot (LaWanda) and Eric Hart (Yolanda); two daughters, Nasheda Talbot Williams and Danielle McGregor (Sammy); twenty-one grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, four brothers, Jimmy Tolbert, Donald Tolbert (Ann), Edgar Tolbert and Henry Evans (Betty); eight sisters, Debra Houston, Billie Montgomery, Julia Cobb, Willie Mahone, Geraldine Lyles, Vivian Tolbert, Pat Banks and Sue Jones (Larry); a host of nieces,nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Talbot will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Christian Ministries with Pastor Joseph McKelton officiating. The interment will be held with military honors at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation is Today, 1 til 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
