Debbie Ashe Obituary
May 3, 1958 - July 30, 2022
Columbus, Georgia - Ms. Debbie Denise Ashe, 64, passed on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Midtown Piedmont Hospital. Funeral Services for Ms. Ashe will be conducted at 11:00AM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Rose Hill Memorial Baptist Church, 1301- 22nd Street. Rev. Alonza Whitaker, Pastor officiating. Interment will be held in Green Acres Cemetery according to the Charles E Huff's International Funeral Home, Inc. There will be NO PUBLIC VIEWING, but a register book will be available to sign for visitors that wish to do so at the Funeral Home located at 927-5th Avenue, Columbus, GA.
Ms. Debbie Denise Ashe was born on May 3, 1958, to the late Mr. Judge Jr., and Hazel Nathaniel Ashe. She was a proud graduate of Carver High School Class of 1976. She was a graduate of Troy State University. Her most prized and loved possessions were her children in the Muscogee County School System, where she worked as a paraprofessional and professional educator retiring in 2018 after 38 years. Ms. Ashe was a dedicated and faithful member of Rose Hill Memorial Baptist Church where she served the Sunday school ministry, culinary ministry and other auxiliaries until her untimely departure.
She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings; Patricia Ashe Alexander (Larry, Sr.,), Judge Ashe III (Daisy) and Kathy Ashe; 24 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

"Hey sister gull" those are the words you would greet me with whenever we were at church. When I use to host black history programs at church you would be there to help me with whatever was needed. Debbie thanks for being a friend I will miss your smile your laughter and most of all your presence. Take your rest. Until we meet again.
