Dexter Smith Obituary

Dexter Elizabeth Smith November 10, 1920- December 24, 2005 COLUMBUS, GA— Dexter Elizabeth Smith, 85, of Columbus, died Saturday, December 24, at Columbus Hospice House. Cryptside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, in the Chapel of Pines Mausoleum in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus. Miss. Smith was born November 10, 1920, in Roanoke, AL., daughter of the late Albert Monroe Smith and Tessie Pearl Johnson Smith, she was self employed and a member of Hamp Stevens United Methodist Church. Survivors include three nephews: Dr. S. Dion Smith of San Francisco, CA.; Richard Smith and his wife Cindy of Green Valley, AZ.; and Stephen Smith and his wife Barbara of Upatoi, GA.; one great Nephew: Matthew Smith and one great niece: Anna Smith, two very special friends Joyce and Linda Stanley.
