January 4, 1950 - March 2, 2021
Seale, Alabama - Mr. Donald H. Walton, 71, of Seale, AL passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm est (2:00 pm cst) Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Hurtsboro City Cemetery in Hurtsboro, AL with Rev. Keith Turner officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Mr. Walton was born January 4, 1950 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Lafayette E. Walton and Mary Clark Walton. He retired as a technician from the Alabama Power Company with over 38 years of service. Mr. Walton loved cooking and was considered a grill master. Additionally, he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, as well as, spending time with his family. Mr. Walton was a member of Hurtsboro United Methodist Church.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; Evelyn McCain, Virginia Wallace and Ruth Pate; a brother, John "Bub" Walton.
Mr. Walton is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Star Walton of Seale, AL; a daughter, Skye Walton Fuller and husband Scott of Waverly, AL; a son, Jeremy Walton and wife Angela of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Savannah, Jackson, Harper, Hannah and Tallulah; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, GA 31909 or the charity of your choice in honor of Mr. Walton.
