Phenix City, Alabama - Donell "Duck" Nickerson, 73, of Phenix City, AL passed Thursday, August 19, 2021 in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. EST in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Raymond Cochran, officiating. Interment to follow in Edmonds Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, August 27, 2021 from 3-5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Nickerson was born October 16, 1947 in Phenix City, AL to the late William H. Nickerson and the late Katie Upshaw-Nickerson. He was a member of Pinehill Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Felicia (Anthony) Jackson, Exzener Nickerson and Vallaire Wilson; two sisters, Betty Brewer and Arlinda McCoy; one brother, Robert Miller; three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
