Dear Annita & Jeannine,
We were so sorry to learn of your mother's death. She was such a dedicated & talented kindergarten teacher. She taught both of our children--Jennifer & Jimbo--and started them on a path of loving learning. I later had the privilege of teaching with her at Double Churches. She taught me so much, too. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Love, Barbara & Jimmy Motos

Mrs. Arline taught me in Kindergarten at Double Churches Elementary. She always called me by my given name in the hallway as I grew older. I never saw her without a smile on her face. She was a warm, caring, incredible person. She will be dearly missed

Anita,
I am very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I was only in her presence a few times but knew she was a special lady. She was always gracious & most plesant to be around and had the sweetest smile. Alzheimer's is a horrible disease. My father passed away with Alzheimer's in April. God Bless you and your family during this difficult time of letting go but I know she is rejoicing in a much better place.

Much Love. Joan (Baggett) Parker

Mrs. Arline was my kindergarten teacher in 1985. She was truly one of the kindest people I had ever met and she made such a huge and awesome impression upon my life and I never forgot her. I had the opportunity later in life to work with her my senior year in high school at the Claflin Center and she was still the same gentle and sweet person I had known 12 years before. I know she will be missed by her family and close friends and is engraved on the hearts and minds of her former students and all those whom she met.
