Midland, Georgia - Doyle Kent Pair Jr., December 25, 1955-September 26th, 2021 Midland, Georgia. Kent Pair, 65, of Midland Georgia was received into his eternal home Sunday at Columbus Hospice. His wife of 39 years, Jane, was by his side. Funeral mass held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Services held at Striffler Hamby Funeral home.
Kent began a career as a contractor in Columbus Georgia starting Pair Foundation Solutions in 1979. Kent enjoyed working, building, and repairing things. His relentless work ethic and honesty in all business matters are traits he proudly passed to his sons. When not at work, Kent was often found working in his shop at home, spending time with his dogs in the yard, or helping his family with personal projects. Kent enjoyed all things outdoor, but fishing was his favorite hobby. Offshore fishing in Fort Morgan with his sons was his fondest past time.
Kent is survived by his loving parents, Doyle Kent Pair Senior and Joann Pair, his wife, Jane McGee Pair, brother, Mike Pair, sister, Patty Thorsen, two sons, Bryant (Laura) and John (Jessica), and three grandsons, Mack, Crawford, and John Jr.

To Kent's family,
I so enjoyed working with Kent over the years, he was such a stand-up guy and I always was able to draw new knowledge from his experience which I am grateful for. His death, I must say, took me by surprise. I had no idea he was dealing with illness. I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to you all and I hope that you will find peace in knowing that he is in comfort being that he has been called home. Sincerely, Johnny Cargill

Our hearts are broken at the loss of your son, Kent! We didn't even know he was sick! I ran across his obituary looking for someone else. The Golden Agers are giving a donation to Mt Zion in Kent's memory. We love ya'll and hope that we can see some similance of normalcy before long. Praying for ya'll.
