Harold "Hal" France was born July 15, 1959 to the late Lucy "Suh" and Nathaniel "Nae" France in Tuskegee, AL. He was the youngest of ten children.
He confessed his life at an early age at Creekstand A.M.E. Zion Church.
He attended South Macon school where he graduated Class of 1978, and was also a member of the Varsity basketball team.
Harold worked at Bibb Mill in Columbus, GA for 9 years. Afterwards he worked at Swift Textile in Columbus, GA for 21 years. Currently, he was employed at the Kemira Chemical Plant in Columbus, GA.
Proceeding him into death he joins mother Lucy France, father Nathaniel France, brothers Nathaniel France Jr., Willie James France, Robert France, and sister Ruby Lee Torbert.
Precious memories remain for those that loved him the most: a loving wife Racheal "Luv" "Honey" France of 15 years; 4 wonderful children: Kimberly Vann Atlanta, GA; Jeffery Hughley Athens, GA; Lashandra Toney and Cleveland Toney Columbus, GA; Goddaughter Latoya Wright Columbus, GA; 6 beautiful grandchildren; Five sisters: Earlene Tolbert and Annie Lee Johnson Cocoa, FL; Lessie (Edgar) Glover Opelika, AL; Deloris Alexander Tuskegee, AL; twin sister Carold (Gregory) Battle Union Springs, AL; 2 sisters-in-law: Selena France Gary, Indiana; Johnette Higgins Phoenix, AZ; special niece Kiatia (Tootie) Alexander; special cousin Johnnie Tolbert; special friends: Rick Johnson, Gary Smith, and Jimmie Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends both near and far.
Harold was also a huge football fan of the University of Alabama and as he would always say "Roll Tide
