Teeny and I wish to express our sincere condolences to all the family on Bo's passing. We considered Bo and Beth dear friends. While we did not meet often, we enjoyed our visits, whether in Colorado, Pine Mountain, or Buckhead. Bo was a well-respected public leader at both national and state levels. He was probably the main reason I was appoionted to the Federal bench. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Calloway Gardens, as we knew in, Ida Casons in the 60's was a great place for Families to come from all of Middle Ga. It is with great hope the legacy that Grandfather and Father created will be there for many more generations to enjoy. All of Georgia has enjoyed the Gardens and send sympathies to the Callaway Family.

A truly great person! I have known him from YPO days to his many acts of leadership in the Republican party....but mostly his Kindness to all, the rich and poor, the famous and the just everyday people. God Bless Him!

Bo indeed provided the impetus that led to Georgia becoming a Red State. I still remember how disappointed I was when, as President of the Fulton County Young Republican Club in 1966, our efforts and that of others wanting to move Georgia into modern times through a Callaway Governorship were frustrated. But he took it in his gentlemanly fashion without bitterness and established the beginnings of a coalition that ultimately was successful, albeit for others. My condolences to the family. "Go Bo!"

I remember Mr. Callaway visiting our home in Vidalia, GA to assist in the development of my Mother's GOP campaign for Mayor of Vidalia in the late 60's. He was and remained a great model for all conservatives.

Beth and Bo Callaway were important to Harris County where I grew up. They were good citizens and family friends. Bo's leadership was outstanding in Callaway Gardens and other civic endeavors. My sympathy goes to his family.
