Mr Ish meant an awfully lot to my family over the almost 40 years have known him. From customer to friends he was always there. He was a guardian angel for my daughter and her to her 2 friends as they went to school in the mid 80's. Even later when ever we met he would ask how was his Jessica (not my daughter, but his jessica). Columbus has lost a great person. If we had more like him the world would be a much better place.

Words could not convey the sad feeling which came over me when I read about the accident. I remember Ish from my childhood days. My family owned Oakland Park and Torch Hill Shell Stations. Many happy times. I believe with his and my dad (Ken Kennedy), my brothers (Garnett and Donald Cox) dedication to the service station business there must be
a Shell Gas Station in heaven. All of them must be sitting around telling their jokes in the garage bay.
God Bless Ish's soul.

Mr. Ish was a man of great presence, he often put OTTO and any us that were around the shop to work to keep us out of trouble. May he rest in peace and may all of his family find comfort in the days to come.

Our deepest sympathy to Guadalupe and family. We've known the family for a very long time. My late husband Dimas Borrero was a great friend of Ish. He spent most of his time with Ish over at the garage and accompanied him sometimes in the tow truck. Ish always had a great smile on his face and greeted us as well as others like we were always part of his good family. Now we have a beautiful angel watching over us from Heaven and even though it is a tragic loss the way it happened to him, he was taken what he loved doing best by always seeing that people's cars were towed to the right locality. You will always be missed Ish! God Bless and Love and Prayers to the family always.

May God Bless the Espada Family during this terrible time of sorrow. Words cannot express what a great man, husband, and father Ish was. May he rest in peace with our Father in Heaven. We are praying for comfort for the family that only our Lord may give.

My deeepest sympathies on your loss. Mr Reyes was probably the kindest most generous person I knew. He was always ready to help people. I remember on one occasion I called him to help with my car that wouldn't start. He dropped what he was doing and came right away. He got my car running, then would not accept any payment for his services. Mine is not the only experience like this I know of. Only heaven knows how many people he has helped over the years. I will always have fond memories of him. Again my deepest sympathies.
Sincerely, Billy R. Allen

My sincere condolences to his family.I have known Ish for over 40 years. I used to buy gas and have my vehicle serviced at his Shell Station on South Lumpkin Rd. With Ish you never had to worry about your car, he was always honsest and sincere. Severeral months ago my elderly Father's car broke down on Howe Ave. and his was right there to help him out, my Father has since passed away. I will miss seeing the old tow truck with Ish and his friendly wave as he makes his way through Oakland Park. Rest in Peace.
