My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Jim will be missed greatly. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Jim at TSYS, prior to retiring. Jim's values, integrity and ethics were vastly equal to his grace and humor. This loss of such a good friend cannot be expressed to the measure of his life to his family and loved ones.
My deepest sympathies to all.

JJ was a great friend and co-worker. He had a huge personality and whenever you entered a room, you definitely knew that he was there. My fondest memories of him will be our numerous road trips and tailgating at Auburn games. I will also miss his stories....and he had lots of them. RIP JJ, things will not be the same without you!

JJ and I have been together for 22 years working side by side in a sometimes stressful conditions...JJ always had a story or a joke (which we heard multiple times) that would make the entire staff laugh....He was a wonderful friend and the earliest Auburn tailgater in our group...The impact he made on my life cannot be measured...I know I am a better person because of him...Thanks my friend....Godspeed until we laugh again..and War Eagle

Mrs. Chris, no words can convey the heart felt compassion and sorrow we feel for you, your children, and the family. Your little loveable school son James knew something was going on as he's been asking for you all weekend, he's connected to you and so am I. We are praying for you all and will continue to do so. We love and miss you! May Mr. James rest in peace with our Father. James and Tanishea Scribner

When Mama told me about Jim, my heart just sank. He was always so kind and knew how to brighten up anyone's day. I haven't seen Jim in about 17 years, but I remember his smile and the sound of his laughter like it was yesterday. He was a true light in this world. Mrs. J, Joey and Greg, I cannot imagine the pain of losing a son and a brother. I'm so sorry for your great loss and pray that God sends you the comfort that only he can provide. Chris, Michael and Melissa, I also cannot imagine what it is like to lose a husband and daddy. I pray for comfort for you as well and for the promise of Jesus that we will all be together again to bring you hope in knowing you will see him again.

My prayer is that God will be the comfort and strength for 'JJ's' family, loved ones and friends as we all come to terms with his passing. JJ was my upper manager at TSYS in the GTS group until early 2015. He was a friendly and very personable man. I always enjoyed his happy and friendly spirit. He had an infectious jest for life and enjoyed conversing with folks and always knew there would be a joke or funny story from him. I will miss his 'all hands on desk' way of announcing his presence when entering an area at work. Rest in peace, JJ. You will be sorely missed. Ann Druckerfellow TSYS employee

I knew Jim from high school, he was one year behind me but such a vital part of the lives of every student who knew him. What I remember most was his big smile, that came from an even bigger heart and love for his friends. To his family, know that after this many years he is remembered for being a friend to everyone he met.

I've known JJ for the 22 years he was employed at TSYS. There wasn't a day that went by where I didn't see a smile on his face - even when he was facing adverse health. My last memory of him is when he attended a meeting I called. At the end of that meeting, as we always did, we gave each other the biggest bear hug. My heartfelt thoughts go to the family. He left a legacy of kindness, laughter and compassion.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Family and friends of Jim. Having gone through something similar many years ago, the support of others makes a big difference. It is sometimes strange how we interact with each others lives, learning and growing by that interaction. His zest for life was inspiring. I had the good fortune to have some exchanges with his son Mike when he was at CVS. I'm reminded of the saying, "Even after the darkest of nights, the sun will rise." I pray that you all will find peace of mind ! ! !

Dear Pat,
I was so sad to hear from mom that Jimmy had passed. The death of a child , no matter what age, is the fear that every parent lives with and that you are now experiencing. I wish that there were some words of condolence I could think of that would help. I can only say that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I have been debating over what to say that will do my dear friend JJ the justice and honor that he deserves. JJ was truly one of the greatest people I have ever known. His love for life and everything it held was contagious! His larger than life smile and laugh infected everyone that he was around....and it was hard not to laugh at his corny jokes! It is truly an honor to call him my friend and he will forever be missed! JJ, you were taken from us to soon, but we know you are watching from on high! WAR EAGLE my friend and I can't wait to get my next bear hug from you!

Jim was my best friend. We spent so much time together in high school with our common interests. I spent so much time in the Jasinski household they became my second family (and I like to think they felt likewise about me). Then I went off to college and Jim followed me to our beloved Auburn University a year later. He and I were roommates, still as close as ever, making new friends but still retaining our strong friendship. Then, after graduating from Auburn, came the time where we finally, after so many years, went our separate ways and followed our chosen careers. But still, even then, later we were re-attached when we both went through programmer training for TSYS. Our lives were always attached, our paths forever crossing.
Until now. I am heart-broken at the loss of my best friend. And will miss him forever.
My heart and my prayers go out to Chris, Michael, Melissa, Mrs. Pat Jasinski, Greg, and Joe. You all were blessed with Jim on this earth for over five decades. Value those memories and value the love that he gave because that love lasts forever.
I love you, my good friend Jim. This is so hard. I'm going to miss you so much.

My former boss...I will always remember your corny jokes and of course you were always asking me about my Kimmie Kakes. RIP to a man who was much larger than life and enjoyed it to the fullest. I'm sure you yelled "Man on Deck!" when you entered into Paradise. I bet BILL MULLIN was waiting on you too, saying "ROLL TIDE" and you screaming back at him "WAR EAGLE"!!! Two of TSYS OPERATIONS FINEST and well loved people. We will miss you JJ and GOD BLESS the family and friends you left behind.
