Jeanne Power Obituary

Jeanne Power June 29,2008 GAINESVILLE, GA — Miss Jeanne Power, age 62, of Chestatee Road, Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Christ First ICCC Church 673 Grove Street, Gainesville, Georgia. The Reverend Monica Ledford will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the funeral home. Miss Power was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late Hugh Broughton Power and Elizabeth (Purcell) Power. She was a retired nurse from the health department. Miss Power is survived by her sister, Susan Power Carroll, Dawsonville; brother, H. Richard Power, Louisville, KY; nieces, Beth Barwick, Greenville, SC; Page Priest, Greenville, SC; Brooks Power, Louisville, KY; Emily Lott, Dahlonega; nephews, Jay Barwick, Columbus, GA; and John Power, Louisville, KY; lifelong friends, Martha and Lamar Phillips, Tucker, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to any SunTrust Bank to benefit the Ryan Dale Ocobock account. Memorial Park Funeral Home of Gainesville, Georgia.

I am so sorry for your lose..Jeanne had been a friend of mine for over 50 years.. ..I had lunch with her last year and she never mention she was sick...I knew she had health problems in the past..I will miss her dearly..My prayers and love to all of you.....She is in gods care now
