I, too, had the privilege of being one of Col. Seddon's students. He was a fine gentleman who really cared cared about us as individuals and who inspired us to do our best. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

I had the pleasure of being in one of Col. Seddon's classes the first year he taught at Hardaway. He was one of the nicest teachers I had in high school and he really cared about us and wanted us to succeed. I know he got frustrated sometimes with student attitudes but his efforts did make an impact on me and a lot of students.
I am sorry for your loss.

I am pleased that I got to know both John and Mary Lou through the 4th Cavalry Assn. We had a lot of good times bantering back and forth through the years. John was indeed quite the gentleman. He was a member of the elite "Greatest Generation" and will be missed. Our condolences to your family! Brenna (Glover) Williams and Mable Glover

Dear Family,

We have so many good memories of John and Mary Lou. John was our "street captain", and any time you smelled pipe smoke, you knew he had just walked by. I still have the map of all the homes on our street, that he gave us the day we moved in. He always had a kind word to say as he greeted you. He will be deeply missed.
