Kenneth Flora Obituary

Kenneth (Ken) Lee Flora February 3, 1940- May 23, 2007 COLUMBUS, GA— Kenneth Lee Flora, 67, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday May 23, 2007 at his home. A memorial service will be held in LaPorte Indiana. Mr. Flora was born February 2, 1940 in Hammond, IN, son of Adele Flora and the late Dr. Kenneth Flora. He worked for several years for the Ledger-Enquirer. He loved getting to know and spend time with all of the people he met and worked with, and remembered this time warmly. He learned to fish and hunt as a young boy, and the outdoors remained his passion and his solace for his entire life. His ashes will be scattered on Silver Lake, Michigan, where he spent a great deal of time with his family as a boy. He was a good and devoted father, and son. He was survived by his daughter, Kristina Skorusa of Jacksonville, FL; his sister Dana Vanes of LaPorte, IN; many nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors and friends. He loved all of us, and he will always be loved.
